FOREIGN FIRE TAX BOARD MEETING June 14, 2016 CALLED TO ORDER 0807 Board Members Present: Chief Schultz, FF Ruck, Lt. Hunecke, FF Baus, FF Igara, Others present: Asst. Chief Vassios, Lt. Byas Old Minutes – The February 4th and May 26th meetings minutes were reviewed. Lt. Hunecke motioned to approve the February 4th meeting minutes, which was seconded by FF Ruck. The motion passed unanimously. Lt. Hunecke Motioned to approve the May 26th meeting minutes, which was seconded by Chief Schultz. The motion passed unanimously. Treasurer’s Report - None Public Comment - None Agenda Additions - Refrigerators for station 39 – Lt. Hunecke motioned to purchase 3 stainless steel replacement refrigerators for station 39 not to exceed $4500. FF Igara seconded the motion. Yes votes – Chief Schultz, Lt. Hunecke, FF Igara No votes – FF Ruck, FF Baus The motion passed Old Business - None New Business - 37 fitness equipment – Igara – FF Igara motioned to purchase fitness equipment for all 3 stations not to exceed $12,000, pending approval by the Health and Safety committee. FF Ruck seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Cabinetry – Lt. Hunecke – Lt. Hunecke motioned to approve the construction and delivery of cabinets for the storage closet at station 38 not to exceed $5000. FF Igara seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.  Hose testing company – Ruck – FF Ruck motioned to approve Waterway to test all of Wheaton Fire Departments hose this year for an amount to not exceed $6500. FF Baus seconded the motion. Yes votes – FF Ruck, FF Baus, FF Igara No votes – Chief Schultz, Lt. Hunecke The motion passed Good of the order - None Adjournment - 0846 - motioned by Lt. Hunecke, and seconded by Chief Schultz. The motion passed unanimously
