NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at
7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois,
to consider the following subdivision application:
Subdivision Application #17-04. An application requesting approval of the preliminary plat of subdivision
for the Loretto Convent property located at 1600 Somerset Lane. The preliminary plat of subdivision
proposes subdividing the property into forty-eight (48) single-family lots following the demolition of all
existing structures. The principal access to the subdivision will be provided via an extension of Somerset
Lane. The property is 15.706 acres in size and will remain zoned I-1 Institutional District.
The application has been submitted by Pulte Home Corporation, 1900 E. Golf Road, Suite 300,
Schaumburg, IL 60173 on behalf of the property owner, The Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary Loretto
Sisters F/K/A the Ladies of Loretto, 1600 Somerset Lane, Wheaton, IL 60189.

PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED APRIL 7, 1992 AS
DOCUMENT R92-63725 AND CERTIFICATE OF CORRECTION RECORDED MAY 1, 1992 AS
DOCUMENT R92-81626, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

At the public meeting, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written
comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public meeting. A copy of the application is
available for review in the office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, 303 West
Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business hours.
