NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, to consider the following zoning application: Zoning Application #17-07. An application requesting a variation to Article 9.2.5 of the Wheaton Zoning Ordinance to allow two small additions on the property located at 1937 Paddock Lane with a front yard setback of 34.5 feet in lieu of the required 41.08 feet. The additions are part of a larger remodel/ expansion of the existing home; however, the rest of the expansion meets the City’s setback requirements. The application has been submitted by Tran Construction, 420 Turf Lane, Wheaton, IL 60187 on behalf of the property owner, Thanh Tran, 1937 Paddock Lane, Wheaton, IL 60187. The property that is the subject of the variation is legally described as: LOT 81 IN HAWTHORNE ESTATES, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE WEST ½ OF THE NORTHEAST ¼ OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED SEPTEMBER 12, 1955 AS DOCUMENT 772809, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. P.I.N.: 05-09-203-003 The subject property is commonly known as 1937 Paddock Lane, Wheaton, IL 60187. At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public hearing. A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business hours.
