NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, in- person and via zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84798692466 or dial (312) 626-6799, Meeting ID: 847 9869 2466, Passcode: 155539 to consider the following zoning application: Zoning Application #21-18. An application requesting variations to Article 3.4A.5a and Article 24.5.4 of the Wheaton Zoning Ordinance to allow the re-construction and expansion of an existing patio with an existing side yard setback of approximately 3.0 feet in lieu of the required 6.4 feet and an outdoor fireplace with a side yard setback of 1.0 foot in lieu of the required 10.0 feet, all on property commonly known as 121 W. Forest Avenue. The application has been submitted by Philip and Mary Suess, 121 W. Forest Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187. The property that is the subject of the variation is legally described as: LOT 5 IN THE RESUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 1 OF JESSE C. WHEATON, JR’S ADDITION TO WHEATON, A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 9 AND A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT OF SAID RESUBDIVISION RECORDED APRIL 24, 1924 AS DOCUMENT 176794, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. P.I.N.: 05-09-317-005 The subject property is commonly known as 121 W. Forest Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187. At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public hearing.
