NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, in-person and via zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81725282649 or dial (312) 626-6799, Meeting ID: 817 2528 2649, Passcode: 676975 to consider the following zoning application: Zoning Application #23-05. An application requesting an amendment to the existing Planned Unit Development (PUD) for the Platinum Car Wash, granted by Ordinance No. E-3630, to allow the following changes: Paint the building’s exterior a palette of blue, white, and gray; install permanent vacuum arches in the existing vacuum areas currently served by portable vacuums; widen the existing pay lanes; install an attendant booth; and modify the western most drive approach to be a right-in only, all on property commonly known as 20 E. Loop Road, Wheaton, IL 60189. The application has been submitted by the property owner, Everclean CW LLC 10, 818 W. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The subject property is legally described as: LOT 1 IN KEIM’S EAST LOOP ROAD SUBDIVISION, BEING A RE-SUBDIVISION OF LOT 2 IN KEIM’S RE- SUBDIVISION OF LOT 6 IN DANADA FARMS EAST UNIT 1, SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT OF SAID KEIM’S EAST LOOP ROAD SUBDIVISION RECORDED JUNE 28, 1991 AS DOCUMENT R91-080372, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. P.I.N. 05-28-402-010 The subject property is commonly known as 20 E. Loop Road, Wheaton, IL 60189. At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public hearing. A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business hours.
