NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 7:00
p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, in-

830 3775 2257, Passcode: 517103 to consider the following zoning application:
Zoning Application #23-10. An application requesting an amendment to the existing special use permit
for a Beauty Shop, granted by Ordinance No. E-3417, to allow a special use permit for a Business and
Professional Office (Dentist) in lieu of the Beauty Shop, all on property commonly known as 1501 E.
Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, IL 60187. The existing building and parking lot will remain, and the property
will continue to be zoned R-7 Residential District.
The application has been submitted by Crystal Shah and Shelly Hingle, 25W438 Flint Creek Drive,
Wheaton, IL 60189 on behalf of the property owner, Western Springs National Bank and Trust as
trustee, U/T/A 10/10/90, AKA Trust #3272, 4456 Wolf Road, Western Springs, IL 60558.
The subject property is legally described as:
LOT 15 (EXCEPT THE SOUTH 5 FEET THEREOF) AND LOT 16 (EXCEPT THE SOUTH 5 FEET THEREOF) IN
BLOCK 20 IN ARTHUR T. MCINTOSH AND COMPANY’S LORRAINE ROAD SUBDIVISION, BEING A
SUBDIVISION IN THE SOUTH ½ OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED NOVEMBER 6, 1925 AS
DOCUMENT 245767, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written
comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public hearing. A copy of the application is
available for review in the office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley
Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business hours.
