PUBLIC NOTICE OF CITY OF WHEATON PUBLIC HEARING ON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on September 23, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Wheaton
City Hall in the Council Chambers (303 W Wesley Street, 2nd floor, Wheaton, IL 60187).
The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comments regarding the City’s planned request for
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Neighborhood Investment funding to be submitted to the
DuPage Community Development Commission. The City has one project for which funding is being
requested. The project, not to exceed $600,000, is to replace water main infrastructure along Roosevelt
Road between President Street and Blanchard Street.
The location of the public hearing is accessible to people with disabilities. Anyone requiring special

Persons interested in commenting on the above project may do so in person at the public hearing.
Comments on the above project may also be submitted in writing to the City of Wheaton Finance
Analyst on the 1st floor of Wheaton City Hall (303 W Wesley Street, Wheaton, IL 60187) or via email to
kmoss@wheaton.il.us. Written or email comments will be accepted until 5:00 PM on September 23,
2024.
