Request City Manager provide City Council, at its next meeting, with a report outlining the impact the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) cuts in permanent supportive housing will have in the city. Said report should include 1) how many permanent supportive housing units are expected to not be renewed; 2) how many residents of those units are expected to lose permanent housing; and 3) how these cuts will impact homelessness numbers in the city. Request City Manager request Commissioner of Public Works provide City Council with a report concerning the department’s performance during the December 2, 2025 snow event, including but not limited to, assessing: 1) why pre-treatment of roads did not occur, 2) the timing of the start of snow operations; 3) the sufficiency of the number of snow equipment operators; and 4) the sufficiency of the number of pieces of equipment.
