1. Call to order, introductions, instructions for public participation and reading of the HRC traditional opening
which includes the mission, associated terms and acknowledgement of the Nipmuc/First People of Worcester:
*Public Comment (Time will be allotted for individuals to speak for 2 minutes at the discretion of the Chair, not to exceed
30 minutes total) *
2. Commission Business (Approximately 6:05-8:00PM)
a. Approval of the July 2025 meeting minutes
b. Statement by Chair RE: Acknowledge September as Worcester Pride month and announcement of festival and
events.
3. Presentation by Attorney Susan Church, Chief Operating Officer and Legal Advisor Office for Refugees and
Immigrants. “Know Your Rights”. Questions and discussion by the HRC members to follow.
4. Presentation from Clerk Whiterell and Member Marutyan regarding their review and recommendations for the WPD
K-9 Policy.
5. Adjournment
