The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting will hold its regular meeting in
the 100 W. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, Room 10.W1003 beginning at 9:00 AM. Once
convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting will take up the
following items no sooner than the designated times.
Once a quorum is established, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting
shall consider the following:
Approval of Minutes
1. Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission
meeting on March 28, 2022
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
2. Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval of the eligibility list for the position of Fire
Captain.
3. Notice and appropriate action regarding an examination announcement for the rank of Police
Lieutenant.
4. Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval of the eligibility list for the position of
Probationary Firefighter.
5. Notice of SAPD disciplinary suspension without pay:
a. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Daniel Uranga effective March 24, 2022.
This matter has not been appealed and is, therefore, final.
Public Comments
The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission may at any time during the meeting
recess into an executive session to discuss personnel and/or legal issues related to any item on this agenda,
pursuant to Section 551.074 (personnel matters) and 551.071 (consultation with attorney).
5. Notice of SAPD disciplinary suspension without pay:
a. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Daniel Uranga effective March 24, 2022.
This matter has not been appealed and is, therefore, final.
